BLUECOR™ Insulation is a thin (1/4") fanfolded extruded polystyrene foam board with plastic film on both sides. Fanfolded 50' lengths are easy to install and work with on the job site. The high-grade polystyrene formulation coupled with the heat bonding of the capsheets (no glue used) permits 90º "folding" around corners without breakage or the need for reinforcement tape.
Building Code Compliance
Meets IBC/IRC requirements for foam plastic insulation. See ESR-2142, BOCA-ES RR 21-02, ICBO-ES ER-2257. UL Classified, see Classification Certificate U589. Calif. Std. Reg. # CA T064. Florida Building Code FL 3835.

(1) R means resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power. R-values are expressed in ft2 • h•°F/Btu. R-value determined by ASTM C518. (2) Vertical compressive strength is measured at 10% deformation or at yield, whichever occurs first. |
